Zurich Charity Bowling Competition 2010

It is the second year that Zurich Insurance Group (Hong Kong) organized Charity Bowling Competition to raise funds for Children's Cancer Foundation. This year's "Zurich Charity Bowling Competition 2010" was rounded off on 25 September 2010 at Hong Kong Bowling City. Senior executives of Zurich Insurance Group (Hong Kong), namely Mr. Ted Ridgway, CEO of Global Life Hong Kong, Mr. Ted Wai, General Manager, Distribution & Marketing of Global Life Hong Kong, and Mr. Andy Wong, Chief Agency Officer of Global Life Hong Kong, officiated the kick-off ceremony of the event. Not only did they cheer the participants, but also had an enjoyable bowling there.

This year customers were invited to join the bowling competition for charity purpose. Zurich received overwhelming response and generous donation from employees, agency and customers. There were 215 participants formed 43 teams to compete for the championship. HK$100,000 was raised for Children's Cancer Foundation.

Zurich invited an award-winning cheer leading squad - "The Flying Swallow Dance Studio" to perform fabulous choreographed stunting, tumbling, jumping and dancing to cheer the bowling teams. In addition, we honorably invited Guangzhou Asian Games bowling athletes Mr. Wu Siu Hong and Ms. Vanessa Fung to share their valuable bowling experience and tips on bowling techniques, which was definitely a great pre-competition tutorial to all the bowlers.
