Fund-raising for Sichuan earthquake relief

The company organised the Zurich Greater China fund-raising programme for Sichuan earthquake relief in May 2008. Thanked to the great support and generosity of the staff, a total HKD368,000 was raised in Hong Kong as a contribution to the victims in the affected areas.

On behalf of Zurich Insurance Group (Hong Kong), Allan Yu, Director of General Insurance Business and Denny Chan, Director of Agency and Distribution Services, Asia Life Insurance presented the donation cheque to Hong Kong Red Cross on 20 June 2008. Wilson Wong, Deputy Secretary General, Hong Kong Red Cross expressed his gratitude for our donation and said all money received would be used for supporting the rehabilitation work in Sichuan.
