Zurich sponsored Hong Kong Blood Cancer Foundation Christmas Fund-raising Campaign 2009
While Christmas is a festive season for celebrations with beloved families and friends, it is also the time to show our concern to people who are less fortunate. With deep commitment in corporate social responsibility, Zurich takes this opportunity to send care and love to blood cancer patients by sponsoring a Christmas tree of the Christmas Fund-raising Campaign 2009 organised by Hong Kong Blood Cancer Foundation and Harbour City.
The kick-off ceremony of the Campaign was held on 9 December, 2009 at Atrium II, Gateway Arcade, Harbour City, officiated by Ms Connie Chan, Honorary Ambassador of Hong Kong Blood Cancer Foundation and celebrities Ms Karena Lam and Mr Ekin Cheng. This year marks the 8th anniversary of the Campaign, with a total donation of over HK$10 million raised over the years, to help provide better support services to blood cancer patients and their families.
Our sales agents and financial advisers also sent their warmest season's greetings through writing on wishing cards hanging on one of the colorful Christmas trees displayed at Kidx of Ocean Terminal, Harbour City. The trees will be displayed until the end of December. You are welcome to check it out and catch the festive spirit!
