Donation to Hong Kong Red Cross for Taiwan typhoon and Indonesia earthquake disaster relief
Staff members of Zurich Insurance Group (Hong Kong) generously supported the Zurich Greater China fund-raising for Taiwan typhoon disaster relief and Zurich On-line Silent Auction fund-raising for Indonesia earthquake relief. We raised a total of HK$153,000 in Hong Kong. Every single cent of the donation does constitute a significant contribution and help make a difference to victims in the affected areas.
On behalf of Zurich Insurance Group (Hong Kong), Mr Allan Yu, Director, General Business and Ms Christine Cheu, Program Director, Propositions, Asia presented the donation cheque to Hong Kong Red Cross on 7 December, 2009. Mr Enkas Chan, Head of International & Relief Service Department, Hong Kong Red Cross expressed his gratitude to our donation and our commitment in corporate social responsibility.
