Official Closure of Zurich Global Healthcare Fund on 4th January 2008

In an attempt to synchronize the current investment strategy in focusing the geographical niche markets and deliver greater operational efficiency through achieving better economies of scale, Threadneedle Asset Management Limited has decided to rationalize a minority stake of its existing fund range and hence formally close Threadneedle Global Healthcare Fund on 15th January 2008. As a result, Zurich Global Healthcare Fund of our Active Insurance Series* (with Threadneedle Global Healthcare Fund as its underlying fund) will be officially closed on 4th January 2008.

To facilitate smooth closure of the aforesaid fund, effective from 5th November 2007, all customers with newly issued policies (regular and/or lump sum), fund switching and/or redirection of contribution (if applicable) to Zurich Global Healthcare Fund will be required to select other Zurich fund choices accordingly.
