Threadneedle wins numerous awards in SCMP Fund Manager of the Year 2003

Threadneedle Asset Management Limited, Deutsche Asset Management (HK) Limited and Baring Asset Management Limited, the fund managers of the underlying funds available through Active Insurance Series won numerous awards in South China Morning Post Fund Manager of the Year 2003.

After winning the "Best Performing Fund Management Group" (Five-Year Award) in 2002, Threadneedle Asset Management, again took the honour of the "Best Performing Fund Management Group" (Three-Year Award) in 2003, demonstrating its outstanding persistent performance in the overall fund management. It was also the winner in seven categories. The funds managed by Deutsche Asset Management and Baring Asset Management were also acknowledged in the sector award.

The investment funds award was organized by the South China Morning Post in association with Standard & Poor's Fund Services. Among the other awards, from a pool of more than 1,800 retail market-oriented funds registered for sales, 72 winners were recognized from a total of 31 sectors.
