Hospital Cash Insurance

It is a cash benefit insurance which provides instant financial assistance for any hospitalization lasting 24 hours or more. The insured can spend the cash at his/her discretion, e.g. on medical expenses or for day-to-day expenses.

Product features and advantages:

• There are three different levels of benefit to choose from
• Entry age ranges from 2 to 60 (age next birthday), and coverage is up to aged 66 (age next birthday)
• Daily hospital cash cover up to HK$1,000 and for a maximum period of 1,000 days
• Extra indemnity is payable for admission to an intensive care unit and maximum cover period is 90 days
• An extra cash benefit up to HK$7,000 is payable for hospital confinement up to 30 consecutive days or more
• 100% benefit guaranteed regardless of any benefits payable by other medical insurance policies
• Cash benefit can be paid on a bi-weekly basis
• Global coverage for the insured under a contract of employment at the time of hospitalization
