Mental health community program
Mental health community programIn 2023, Zurich launched a three-year youth-oriented mental health community project, Chill Lab, in collaboration with the Mental Health Association of Hong Kong (MHAHK) and supported by Z Zurich Foundation. The project features a youth hub with VR/AR activities and human library, and various digital and community programs aiming to enhance awareness of mental wellbeing among youths. The project is expected to reach 58% of Hong Kong secondary schools, and positively impact more than 190,000 individuals by 2026.

3x3 Inter-school Basketball Competition
3x3 Inter-school Basketball CompetitionZurich has been proudly title-sponsoring the 3x3 Inter-school Basketball Competition since 2021, championing local sports and youth athletes development among secondary schools. In addition to basketball competition, the program also features community work such as mental wellbeing workshops for basketball players, charity sale, training camp for underprivileged kids, etc. to promote healthy mind and body among the community and Zurich staff.

Community serviceTo create meaningful and positive impact in our community, Zurich actively engages in volunteering activities, including visits to special needs schools and elderly homes, beaches and hiking trails cleanup, fundraising, upcycling workshops, packing and distributing meals to those in need, etc. These activities bring together Zurich’s staff, their families and friends, and volunteers from business partners, underscoring our passion to inspire and empower collective action for a brighter future.

Diversity and inclusionPeople are Zurich’s most important asset, which is why Zurich is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Zurich has set a target to increase female ratio of senior and mid-level executives to empower individuals to unlock their leadership potential. In addition to mentorship programs, internal training and guests speakers sharing, we have various employee resource groups for specific agenda such as LGBT+, new generations, gender equality and cultural diversity, fostering a level playing field for all.
