Travel insurance arrangements for disruptions in the Middle East

Recent developments in the Middle East, including places such as Iran, Israel, and Iraq, have led to the temporary closure of airspace at airports in Dubai, Riyadh, Doha and other locations. As a result, a large number of flights have been cancelled or delayed. We are offering the following arrangements to address different travel situations for our travel insurance customers:

• Travel not yet commenced:

We are offering special flexible premium refund arrangements. If you wish to cancel your policy, please send your instruction using your registered email address to enquiry@hk.zurich.com, stating your policy number. We will handle the request on a special basis.

• Already travelling:

If you are unable to complete your journey on the originally scheduled date due to uncontrollable reasons, we will extend the insurance period free of charge for up to a maximum of ten days, allowing you to complete your insured journey with peace of mind.
