Beware of Scams
Zurich Insurance (Hong Kong) (“Zurich”) urges the public to stay vigilant against fraudsters who may use fake websites, social media platforms, emails, etc. to impersonate Zurich and distribute false information. These scams may attempt to lure customers into clicking website links, replying to emails, or providing credit card and personal information to obtain money by fraud. We hereby clarify that Zurich has no connection with these fraudulent websites, social media platforms, or emails.
Important reminders:
- Zurich is a Registered SMS sender with the Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA) in Hong Kong. All SMS messages sent to Hong Kong mobile service users from Zurich will have a sender name beginning with "#".
- Please be cautious of suspicious messages from other sources, such as fake websites, mobile apps, emails or phone calls.
- Never click suspicious links or disclose personal information under any circumstances to avoid financial loss.
If you are concerned that you may have provided credit card, bank or other personal information to such websites/platforms/emails, conducted insurance transactions, or received suspicious messages claiming to be from Zurich, please report to the police immediately. Fraudulent websites and unauthorized insurance sales platforms
We have discovered companies/websites using, displaying, and/or copying Zurich Insurance trademarks and product information on digital channels or social media platforms without Zurich’s approval, authorization or consent. Such actions may infringe our intellectual property rights and potentially violate insurance sales regulations. We hereby declare and confirm that Zurich has no cooperation or relationship with these unauthorized insurance sales platforms. We have reminded all business partners not to engage in any direct or indirect business dealings with these companies/websites.
