Beware of scams impersonating Zurich or HKTVmall
Zurich Insurance (Hong Kong) (“Zurich”) has identified fraudulent activities involving individuals impersonating Zurich or HKTVmall staff. They falsely claim that customers previously received a free Zurich home insurance offer on HKTVmall, that the free period is about to end and charges will soon apply. They then instruct customers to cancel the policy through specific channels, in an attempt to obtain personal and/or online banking login information and steal funds.
Zurich hereby confirms that we have not partnered with HKTVmall to offer free home insurance to customers, and we will never ask customers to provide their online banking login details. Customers should remain vigilant and exercise caution to avoid potential scams.
